Dialogue with CEO 2025
Logistics and Supply Chain MultiTech R&D Centre (LSCM) continues its commitment to nurturing future innovators through its internship programme and over 60 interns from diverse local and international academic institutions joined this year which brings fresh perspectives and energy to ongoing research and development initiatives.
With a view to strengthen the communication between interns and Centre’s senior management, LSCM continues to organize the “Dialogue with CEO” event on 15 August 2025. Mr Simon Wong and his Senior Management Leaders shared valuable experiences and knowledge about the future technology development. Simon also shared insights into the evolving landscape of innovation and technology, highlighting LSCM’s role in empowering young talent to contribute to impactful Research & Development projects. He encouraged all interns to embrace challenges, pursue their passions, and set clear career goals.
The event left a lasting impression on the interns who expressed a strong interest in continuing their journey in LSCM after graduation. The Centre will dedicate the cultivation of a dynamic environment where young professionals can thrive and shape the future of technology.

Port Community System (PCS) Launch Ceremony
LSCM參與由香港特別行政區政府運輸及物流局舉辦嘅港口社區系統 (Port Community System, PCS) 啟動禮。由運輸及物流局局長陳美寶女士,JP、香港特別行政區立法會易志明議員,GBS, JP,海運及港口發展專員陳婉雯女士、運輸及物流局首席助理秘書長莊敏婷女士、LSCM行政總裁黃廣揚先生,MH,FCILT及LSCM研究及技術開發總監及首席科學主任唐志鴻博士為PCS的研發及應用進行啟動儀式。
於活動上,運輸及物流局、LSCM及廣東省電子口岸管理有限公司亦共同簽署合作備忘錄,就港口社區系統及相關的貿易通關等領域展開合作,通過數字化推動香港與大灣區在於海運、物流和貿易互聯互通。

ISSRAC Opening Ceremony
物流及供應鏈多元技術研發中心(LSCM)與CEC中國軟件合作建設的「信息系統安全可靠評測中心 (ISSRAC)」正式啟用,並由香港特別行政區政府數字政策專員黃志光先生,JP、香港特別行政區政府創新科技署助理署長(研發中心) 巫菀菁女士、深圳中軟總經理張紅明先生、中國電子(CEC)集團國際合作部代表俞毅先生、LSCM 董事局主席林曉鋒教授 · 工程師,JP,以及LSCM 行政總裁黃廣揚先生,MH,FCILT為中心揭幕。
LSCM 行政總裁黃廣揚先生,MH,FCILT在開幕禮致詞時表示:「LSCM非常榮幸能夠與CEC中國軟件攜手合作,建設『信息系統安全可靠評測中心』。ISSRAC的啟用將協助企業優化其信息安全防護措施,提高信息系統的安全可靠性,亦為業界提供更優質可靠的創新科技服務,為本港以至大灣區的智慧城市發展作出貢獻。」
深圳中軟總經理張紅明先生在活動上指出:「中軟是中國電子信息產業集團公司(CEC)控股的大型高科技上市軟件企業,國家規劃佈局內重點軟件企業。CEC很高興能夠與LSCM合作,為香港帶來安全及可持續性的信息創新系統(信創)產品,提升信息系統的安全可靠性。」
ISSRAC的成立旨在引入安全及可持續性的信息創新系統(信創)產品來港,為政府部門及公營機構提供有關信創產品的測試評估、試驗環境、專業諮詢以及提議適配方案,亦為業界提供更優質可靠的創新科技服務,提升信息系統的安全可靠性,是強化香港網絡安全及確保信息資訊系統可靠性的重要里程碑。

InnoEx 2025
LSCM took part in InnoEx 2025 co-organised by the Government of the HKSAR and Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) on 13 – 16 Apr 2025 to showcase the Centre’s latest Smart City technologies. The event this year focused on advancements in A.I. Robotics, Cyber Security, Smart Mobility and the Low Altitude Economy.
To promote innovation and collaboration, LSCM showcased a series of the Centre’s award-winning technologies, including the Port Community System (PCS) and Detachable Follow-me Robot, as well as Robo-9 with Multi-Sensor Technologies for the Visually Impaired and XRCC – Extended Reality Content Creation Suite which had just received a Gold Award and a Silver Award respectively at The Edison Awards™ 2025. These award-winning technologies were developed to cater for the needs of the industries and the community.
Mr ZHUANG Rongwen, the Minister of the Cyberspace Administration of China and Chairman of the WIC and Prof Dong SUN, JP, Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, The Government of the HKSAR, as well as other guests from the Mainland and overseas visited the LSCM booth to learn about the showcased technologies and the Centre’s latest R&D initiatives.

50th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva
The 50th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva, took place from 9 to 13 April 2025 in Geneva, Switzerland, was a global event honouring the advancement in technology and innovation. This year, LSCM once again demonstrated its strength and expertise in technology R&D and has garnered 3 silver medals and 1 bronze medal at this prestigious event.
LSCM’s award-winning projects highlight its commitment in developing advanced technologies to foster the smart city development in Hong Kong and in the Greater Bay Area. The project “Protecting the Ecological Environment in Construction Areas with an AIoT System” was awarded a silver medal for its ability to monitor the air quality, wildlife movements, and water changes for early detection of the environmental impact of construction. Another silver medal was awarded to the project “Assistive Technologies for Traditional Chinese Medicine Tele-Practice”. It integrates pulse sensing and regeneration devices which are linked via wireless network to support remote medical consultations in Traditional Chinese Medicine practice. The project “Multi-Sensor Object Detection for Better Traffic Control”, also awarded a silver medal, utilises lidar, thermal cameras, radar, and standard cameras to monitor and optimise traffic flow. The Detachable Follow-me Robot, which was awarded a bronze medal, is capable of following the operator while assisting in transporting heavy and bulky items.
LSCM is excited to have received the prestigious awards again this year and will continue its effort in driving the progress of technology development to foster the industry growth and enhance the quality of life of the community.

Edison Awards™ 2025
At the Edison Awards™ 2025 held on 2-3 April 2025 in the United States, LSCM was proud to receive one Gold Award and one Silver Award with two of its latest technologies, which is another remarkable achievement of the centre this year. Established in 1987, The Edison Awards™ is among the most prestigious accolades honouring excellence in new product and service development, marketing, design and innovation.
LSCM’s “Robo-9 with Multi-Sensor Technologies for the Visually Impaired” clinched the Gold Award in the “Engineering & Robotics” category at the event. This innovative technology enhances mobility for the visually impaired with advanced navigation and obstacle avoidance functionalities, simulating the guide dogs. Meanwhile, the “XRCC – Extended Reality Content Creation Suite,” developed in collaboration with The University of Hong Kong and VOTANIC Limited, received the Silver Award in the “Entertainment Design & Experience” category. XRCC empowers users to create dynamic XR experiences for training and experiential learning with ease.
LSCM’s success at The Edison Awards™ 2025 signified its dedication to develop innovative technologies in collaboration with various sectors to bring about meaningful and significant benefits to the industry and the community.
