Riding on the success of last year’s Summit, the LSCM R&D Centre is excited to announce that our next annual Summit will be staged on 24 September 2013 at the Hong Kong Science Park.

The Internet of Things (IoT) has been developing from concept to reality, which becomes a hot topic and has gained a lot of international attention from governments, industries, commercial sector and academia. With the adoption of RFID and Location Base Services technologies, a network will be literally formed with every object and every people as they are being connected. This emerging field will likely bring a multitude of business opportunities, and societal benefits in the coming future.

Focus on the themes of Internet of Things (IoT) and Location Base Services, a number of senior government officials and experienced industry professionals are invited as speakers at the LSCM Logistics Summit 2013. While in the afternoon session, representatives from academia will share their insights and knowledge in three concurrent technology seminars. The full-day program will be enriched with a technology exhibition demonstrating the Centre’s fruitful R&D deliveries.
