The Asia-Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards is an international award programme organised by APICTA, which aims to increase ICT awareness in the community. With the StayHomeSafe Home Quarantine Monitoring Solution, LSCM received the Merit Awards jointly with Compathnion Technology Limited in two categories, namely "Inclusion – General" and "Technology – IoT", in the APICTA Awards 2020-21. The StayHomeSafe Home Quarantine Monitoring Solution was developed to support the home quarantine arrangement implemented by the HKSAR Government to curb the spread of COVID-19 in Hong Kong since early 2020. The solution is still in use in the current fifth wave of the pandemic. The awards recognised the tireless effort of the LSCM teams in developing technologies to assist the city in combatting COVID-19.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Special Edition 2022: Invention Geneva Evaluation Days was held online on 16 – 20 March 2022. This year, LSCM has won five Bronze Medals with our latest projects developed to enhance the efficiency of different industries and improve the quality of life of the public. The award-winning projects include Artificial Intelligence for Traffic Survey Using Unmanned Aircraft System, Robo-9 with Multi-Sensor Technologies for the Visually Impaired, Cloud-based Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform with legal domain translation, continuous authentication, and 360 degree monitoring, Tele-practice Platform System, as well as Next Generation End-to-End Healthcare Community Support System.
