Senior Procurement Officer / Procurement Officer

Responsibilities

Work independently to understand / handle procurement needs & requests, including identifying the potential products/solutions/services supplier according to internal stakeholders’ requirements, evaluation, Contract T&C negotiation, carry out & comply to procurement process, negotiate & monitor delivery to meet project schedule, etc.;
Assist the reviewing and updating procurement policies, contents and records of purchase items, procedures and processes;
Maintaining accurate records of procurement transactions, stock and ensure that they are properly documented and filed;
Perform cost analysis, price negotiation and obtain the best possible prices, terms & conditions for the Centre;
Prepare and issue purchase orders and contracts to suppliers;
Monitor supplier performance (supplier delivery and product quality) and take remedial action whenever necessary;
Identify performance gaps, resolve any issues or dispute with suppliers and ensure that they are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner;
Maintaining good relationships with key vendors, exploring opportunities to obtain better deals;
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws related to procurement.
Be the user of the Procurement system, perform UAT and propose customization if needed

Requirements

Degree holder with at least 2 years’ relevant experience in procurement;
Strong sense of integrity and responsibility, familiar with contract management;
Good problem-solving, negotiation & multi-tasking skills;
Analytical, self-initiative with good communication skills;
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
Good knowledge of PC applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese typing;
Proficiency in English & Chinese, particularly Mandarin will be advantage
