Jointly hosted by the Government of the HKSAR and the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, and co-organised with the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, the GIES was the largest gerontechnology public education event in Hong Kong which provided a platform for stakeholders to discuss and form collaboration for broader adoption of gernotechnology.   At the Expo, LSCM showcased a number of the Centre’s latest gerontechnology. Visitors were attracted to the LSCM booth to experience and learn about the Tele-Practice Platform System, Follow-me Robot, Robo-9, Elderly Lifter, 3D LiDAR Bed Monitoring System and Maxbot etc.

Organised by the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC), the InnoCarnival 2022 was held at the Hong Kong Science Park from 22-30 October 2022 to promote the convenience and comfort brought by innovation and technology to the general public. LSCM also took part in the event to showcase the Maxbot and VR Waste Sorting. These two interactive technology games were designed for the public to enjoy the fun of using technology. The interactive games were very popular and attracted many visitors to LSCM booth.

Hong Kong International ICT Expo is one of Asia’s leading ICT trade shows. It provides an ideal platform for ICT solution providers to meet with over 34,000 visitors from 137 countries and regions looking for the latest solutions to help their business grow. A record number of 610 exhibitors from 14 countries and regions were featured at the 2019 event, including group representations from Canada, France, India, Korea and the Mainland China.

The prolonged COVID-19 pandemic has led to significant disruptions in the global supply chain and economy. Many industries have accelerated the adoption of automation and digitalisation to maintain competitiveness and, more importantly, to prepare for the challenges in the New Normal.    In this year’s LSCM Logistics Summit, speakers and distinguished guests will discuss how technology could unlock the potential of businesses and drive the industry forward. Government officials, industry experts, business leaders and academia representatives will gather to explore the opportunities that technology advancement will bring along and share the recent industry updates.

Representatives from Occupational Safety and Health Council visited LSCM Science Park office on 29 June 2022. LSCM demonstrated some logistics related R&D projects to our guest, including Deliverbot, VR Cave, Ultra-wideband Activity Monitoring System, technologies for COVID-19 vaccination programme, etc.

A delegation of representatives from the China Mobile Hong Kong visited LSCM’s Science Park office on 23 June to learn more about LSCM R&D technologies. The delegation was introduced to the latest LSCM projects, such as Deliverbot, Tele-control Warehouse Stackers Using 5G, Seat Occupancy and Seat Belt Fastening Detection System for Green Mini Bus, Deep Vision Automation and Deliverbot Assisted Medicine Dispensary and Delivery System in TCM Hospital Logistics, VR Cave, etc.
