| The 50th  International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva, took place from 9 to 13 April  2025 in Geneva, Switzerland, was a global event honouring the advancement in  technology and innovation. This year, LSCM once again demonstrated its strength  and expertise in technology R&D and has garnered 3 silver medals and 1  bronze medal at this prestigious event.  LSCM's  award-winning projects highlight its commitment in developing advanced  technologies to foster the smart city development in Hong Kong and in the  Greater Bay Area. The project “Protecting the Ecological Environment in  Construction Areas with an AIoT System” was awarded a silver medal for its  ability to monitor the air quality, wildlife movements, and water changes for  early detection of the environmental impact of construction. Another silver  medal was awarded to the project "Assistive Technologies for Traditional  Chinese Medicine Tele-Practice". It integrates  pulse sensing and regeneration devices which are linked via wireless network to  support remote medical consultations in Traditional Chinese Medicine practice.  The project "Multi-Sensor Object Detection for Better Traffic Control", also  awarded a silver medal, utilises  lidar, thermal  cameras, radar, and standard cameras to monitor and optimise traffic flow. The  Detachable Follow-me Robot, which was awarded a bronze medal, is capable of  following the operator while assisting in transporting heavy and bulky items. LSCM is excited to have received the prestigious  awards again this year and will continue its effort in driving the progress of  technology development to foster the industry growth and enhance the quality of  life of the community. |
