            | Digital Economy Summit 2024 |

            | The Digital Economy Summit (DES) 2024  organised by the Government of the HKSAR and Cyberport was held on 12 – 13 Apr  2024. As one of the co-organisers of the Summit, LSCM partnered with Hong Kong  Productivity Council (HKPC) to organise the Smart Industrialisation &  Supply Chain Forum (Forum) on the first day of the event. With the theme of  "Transformative Technologies for Smart Manufacturing & Supply Chain  Optimisation", the industry experts explored the immense potential of  cutting-edge technologies in revolutionising the manufacturing industry and optimising  supply chain operations, as well as boosting productivity and fostering  sustainable practices, at the Forum.   At the event, LSCM  also showcased two logistics technologies developed by the Centre, namely the  Electronic Power Assist Trolley System and the Tele-control Warehouse Stackers  Using 5G, at the Experience Zone. This allowed the guests to gain first-hand  experience of the innovation which could be adopted for enhanced efficiency and  productivity.  Through the active participation in various  industry events and exhibitions, LSCM promotes and facilitates the adoption of innovative  technologies in the logistics, and different sectors. |
