Visit by the Open City Community

On 25 January 2024, representatives from the Open City Community visited LSCM to explore the Centre’s latest technologies and exchanged their views towards the development of technologies for logistics and trade with the LSCM team.

During the visit, Mr Stephen WAI, Business Development Director, LSCM, introduced a series of technologies to the guests, such as the Electronic Wristband and Monitoring System for Hong Kong’s “StayHomeSafe” Home Quarantine Support Solution and RFID Device (Two-piece Device for Tolling Application).


Mr Stephen WAI, Business Development Director, LSCM, explained how the Electronic Wristband and Monitoring System for StayHomeSafe Home Quarantine Support Solution was deployed by the Government of the HKSAR to support the home quarantine measures during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Visit by the Guangdong-Hongkong-Macao Greater Bay Area College of Intelligent Cold-Chain Industries

On 24 January 2024, LSCM received a group of guests from the Guangdong-Hongkong-Macao Greater Bay Area College of Intelligent Cold-Chain Industries. During the visit, the LSCM team introduced various technologies to the guests, including the AIoT Herbal Picking and Delivery System, Virtual Reality (VR) Training System for Strategic Operations, Tele-control Warehouse Stacker Using 5G, and Automated Concrete Cube Testing System, etc. The guests were especially interested in the technologies that are suitable for the logistics industry.


The guests were interested in the robotics technologies and explored their potential application in the logistics industry.	The guests experienced the Virtual Reality (VR) Training System for Strategic Operations during the visit.
